The Samsung S5830 Android 2.2 smartphone seen a couple of days ago is actually called Samsung Galaxy Ace – not Galaxy S Mini, as I previously thought. An official image of the Galaxy Ace has just appeared over at EuroDroid. Although the image is small, there’s no doubt that the Ace is the S5830, so it should feature a HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 5MP camera. As a reminder the Ace is looking to be a smaller version of Sammy’s Galaxy line, thus dubbed the Galaxy S Mini by some. It will sport a 3.5-inch display (480 x 320 pixels and reportedly not Super AMOLED), 800 MHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, along with the rest of the usual stuff. Nothing spectacular, but I’m sure, this is just a cookie crumb of what Samsung has to offer at MWC. Samsung Galaxy seems to have converted into a huge family. One of its members is Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830. This touchscreen handset comes in a black body with a sleek and stylish looks. Just like others in the family, this too is a Smartphone, Android based device. The 3.2 inch capacitive TFT display screen offers a resolution count of 320×480 pixels. The touch sensitivity is a feature that has been worked upon because this time it works quite conveniently. From the internet connectivity point of view, one gets to use GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi facility which makes browsing through the web an easy affair. The 5MP camera with the auto focus and flash feature offers a great image resolution count along with producing sharp crisp images. This device works on the 2.2 Froyo version of Android which can be considered a great plus point considering the medium range of this phone. The 1350mAh battery is a point which takes one by surprise. |
